Our good friends, the Dugovics, invited us to go down to their condo in St. George over Thanksgiving weekend...good friends, a beautiful condo, warmer weather...who could refuse that?! So, after a DELICIOUS feast at Ben's parent's place (thank you so much Mom!) and an inspirational and touching family devotional (thanks Dad!) we loaded up in the car and headed down to St. George! We arrived late Thursday night, unloaded the car and the kids and stayed up until 2 in the morning talking and laughing!

The next day we went swimming with the kids in the morning and then hit the outlets for some Black Friday shopping!! We tried to go to Pirate Island for dinner that night, but they were SOOOO slow that we finally complained and left before we even ordered (it took about half an hour to get seated and then we were at our table for about 20 minutes and never once saw our server). But they gave us giant tokens that we could use another time. So we went back for a late lunch on Saturday. We still waited a long time, but it wasn't as bad as the night before and we got the meal for really cheap since we had free tokens that we used towards our food.

The kids (and adults) had a good time in the arcade and got a ton of tickets! I tell you what, if I ever go to Vegas, I'm taking Kortland with me! He has the BEST luck!!
Sunday was a little more low key. We hung out at the condo in our pajamas and played games.

The little boys found Pokemon Monopoly in the closet and had a great time with that. They liked to take turns being the "banker"!

The "big" boys had a great time playing old games on the X-box!!
Laura made some yummy chocolate chip cookies that I ate way too many of!

And, of course, Dillon had to help with the laundry! It's pretty much his favorite thing to do in the whole world! (As I type this, he is downstairs watching the washing machine and singing a happy little song!! Too funny!) So we washed all of our clothes from the weekend and re-packed them to come home.
The kids were such good travelers! We are so blessed to have kids that adjust well to different places. They all slept well and really had fun playing together! Dillon was SO upset when we had to leave! He kept saying (well, screaming and crying really) "I just want to stay at Sister Dugobic's!"
We had so much fun! Thank you so much Kyle and Laura!! Let's do it again SOON!!
