A Sad Farewell

Last night our beloved prophet, President Gordon B. Hinckley returned to our Heavenly Father where I am sure he received the warmest of welcomes! I felt very strongly that I needed to express my love for this man and my gratitude for the Gospel that has blessed my life in so many, many ways. I have loved listening to the beautiful words of President Hinckley over the past several years. He had such a way of reaching the hearts of everyone listening. He touched mine on many different occasions. I am so grateful for the knowledge that there is a life after this one, where President Hinckley is now reunited with his beautiful wife and those who have passed before him. I feel so lucky to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and to have the knowledge that I too can return to our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ if I live worthily to do so. I will always strive to do so. President Hinckley will be dearly missed, but will live on in our hearts and I will always remember him fondly.

What a Big Helper!

The other day I was trying to get the laundry folded and Dillon was so fussy. I brought him in and laid him on our bed. He thought it was an open invitation to make himself at home in the piles of clothes and scooted his way over to the stack that I had just folded. He proceeded to grab an item of clothing and throw it over his shoulder. He repeated this a few times and was quite proud if himself. What a good helper I have!

Corn Dogs Anyone?

Okay, so we were trying to be creative with our meal plans and decided to try something that we hadn't done before. So we thought we would make homemade corn dogs. . .needless to say, it didn't turn out so great. We thought we would share our catastrophe with all of you so that you can all have a laugh and a giggle at our expense! My advice; stick with the Corn Dog Factory or the frozen ones from the store!! Hope you all enjoy!

Girl's Lunch

Every year when Abby comes to visit from Virginia, all the girls(L-R; Me, Kristen, Melinda, Mindee, Abby, Heather) try to get together for lunch. This year we went to California Pizza Kitchen. The food was very yummy and, as always, it was great to see all of my friends and catch up on how they are all doing. To my wonderful husband, thank you for keeping the boys so I could have a nice, relaxing afternoon with my friends! To my beautiful ladies, thank you for the many years of continued friendship, love and support! May there be many, many more!
